WWE HELL IN A CELL RESULTS

With Hell in a Cell officially in the books, there are a lot of changes to the WWE. The event overall was very unpredictable and provided a lot of interesting twists that WWE fans could get behind. All in all, on a scale of 1-10, I give it a 8.5!

The ending to Hell in a Cell was one of the more entertaining things done on pay-per-view since Money in the Bank. The Miz and R-Truth sneaked in, wearing jeans and hoodies. We haven't seen nothing like this since Edge did it at 2007s Survivor Series (Batista vs. Undertaker). Miz & Truth beat everyone down and kicked the referees down. Triple H and John Laurinaitis ran down but the Cell is lowered, keeping Triple H out. Triple H orders Laurinaitis to the back to open the Cell. The entire locker room tried running down to help out, but the Cell was still down leading to police being brought down and arresting Miz and Truth once the chaos had been taken care of. Triple H would then start beating down Miz and Truth while they were still in handcuffs, leading to the end of the pay per view and everyone shocked and confused.

WWE has been doing really well with the Miz & R-Truth firing storyline and so far it's one of the more entertaining storylines going on right now. Everyone must be holding their breath to see what happens next.

One of the more frequent talked about stories on this site is the apparent lack of faith WWE has in John Morrison since returning from his neck surgery.  He's only won a handful of matches since returning about two months ago and everyone seems convinced that Morrison will end up leaving the WWE! However, he recently picked up a good win over Drew McIntyre on WWE Superstars and WWE showed their support when they put Morrison in a WWE Intercontinental Championship match at Hell in a Cell against the red-hot champion Cody Rhodes.

Of course, Morrison lost, but Morrison put up quite a showing in a pay per view singles match. Better yet, Cody got the win with a quick roll up, not as decisive as winning after a Beautiful Disaster or a Cross Rhodes.  Morrison was chosen above mid card faces like Alex Riley, Zack Ryder, Daniel Bryan, Justin Gabriel, Wade Barrett, and Ted DiBiase, which shows that while he might be in a hole, WWE still has some hope for him as one of the most over mid card faces on the roster.

At Hell in a Cell, Mark Henry surprised a lot of people by retaining his World Heavyweight Championship in the Hell in a Cell Match against Randy Orton. Henry won the match after catching Orton during an attempted running punt to the skull and a World's Strongest Slam.

But in WWE, having anyone other than Orton come out strong is a ridiculous idea so they had to have Henry try to demolish Orton like he did Big Show and Kane; however, Orton would escape and be the last man standing in the ring. While this may seem like a setback, Henry did retain the World Heavyweight title and his reign of terror will continue, he might have to defend his title against Orton one more time.  If not Orton, I feel Sheamus is going to be added in the mix (their feud was never really resolved) and expect other faces on Smackdown like Christian, Ted DiBiase, Cody Rhodes, and Wade Barrett (to name a few) to make their statements heard as to why they should be considered for a title shot.

Everyone in the IWC can say without doubt that Alberto Del Rio's first title reign was phenomenal.  It was about as Zack Ryder's Internet title reign and it made WWEs ratings sky high for giving Del Rio so much in less than a year (Royal Rumble 2011, Raw Money in the Bank, etc.) Del Rio lost the WWE Championship to John Cena at Night of Champions after winning it the previous month at SummerSlam when he cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase. Many weren't expecting such a short, useless reign for Del Rio, especially with the WWE having their first tour of Mexico soon.  Many were expecting to see Del Rio headlining the tour as WWE Champion in his home country.  Now that Del Rio is once again the WWE Champion and with the tour of Mexico approaching, we should expect to see him as WWE Champion for the next couple of months.  I see Del Rio retaining his championship at Vengeance and Survivor Series before losing it either before or at TLC in December.

Hell in a Cell was really good this year, not as good as Money in the Bank, and a whole lot as shocking as SummerSlam. I, for one, cannot wait for tonight's Raw Supershow to see the backlash of Hell in a Cell, especially to what Triple H has to say about the Miz and R-Truth situation. And also to see more of Zack Ryder and to see what type of car Del Rio will come out in! Thanks for reading, don't forget to leave a comment about what you thought of Hell in a Cell.
